Samsung Boosts Galaxy Ring Production Due to Surging Demand

Samsung has significantly increased production of its Galaxy Ring, exceeding initial expectations. Sources reveal that the company initially planned to manufacture 400,000 units, but has now added an additional 600,000 units to meet growing demand.

The smart ring has received a warm welcome, particularly in China, prompting Samsung to adjust its production volume. With global sales set to begin on July 24, Samsung is poised to make a significant impact in the wearable market.

If sales meet expectations, Samsung's Galaxy Ring could rival the success of Oura's ring, which has sold a substantial number of units since its launch in 2017. However, the two companies are currently embroiled in a patent dispute in the US, with Samsung seeking to affirm its non-infringement of Oura's patents.
